Integrated Care at Hawaiian Eye

While we endured a snowstorm in our New York office this month, one of our advisors was working hard in a decidedly more appealing climate: Philip Isham, the spearhead of our OcuNetix initiative, was selected to present and moderate at two conferences – Caribbean Eye and Hawaiian Eye – that highlight his vast knowledge in the eye care field.

With 25 years of health care experience, 10 of which were in the eye care field, Philip has expertise in strategic planning, business development, revenue cycle management, financial analysis and benchmarking, leadership and team building, as well as practice management and efficiency.

Audiences at both conferences were able to explore factors impacting providers’ strategic considerations for success in today’s and tomorrow’s environments, understand what integrated care is and why it’s a critical strategy for eye care, and learn potential approaches to execute eye care integration.

By guiding attendees through analyzing internal strengths and weaknesses at the practice level and then identifying opportunities and threats in the external environment, Philip identifies the ways that shifting trends and changing patient access channels affect strategic considerations for integrated eye care.

At Hawaiian Eye, Philip led a session on Integrated Care Systems, followed by a panel on the Digital Patient Experience. The panel featured discussions of online tools, challenges a practice might face, and how to maximize value and design for efficiency – an incredibly relevant conversation for any decision-maker.

At the upcoming Caribbean Eye, Philip will be on a panel detailing Strategies for Success, then act as the moderator for a session on Integrated Healthcare and Value-Based Payments.
