This week, TKG’s Co-Founder and Chairman John Strapp, Jr. shared the stage with Scott Hayworth, MD, President & CEO of CareMount Medical Group and Christopher Lisanti, Managing Partner of The Exequor Group at the April New York Pharma Forum program, to discuss The Affordable Care Act: Implications and Strategies for Pharma in Today’s Healthcare Landscape. The three speakers discussed priorities for health systems resulting from changes in health policy, including achieving the Triple Aim through population health management, team-based care coordination, transitions of care, patient engagement, and the use of data and health information technology (HIT). Additionally, the speakers emphasized that pharma needs to understand and address these priorities in order to successfully partner with their health system customers.

“Understanding the operations of health systems is imperative for a successful pharma partnership,” said John Strapp, Jr., at the event. “You need to understand how they deliver care, and where you can fit in.”
