TKG’s History: Embracing Healthcare Change for Over 16 Years

banner_compassOur story began in 1998.  Sixteen years ago, John Strapp and Sarah McNulty identified an opportunity to revolutionize diabetes care through innovative approaches to the traditional patient/provider programs.  Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, John and Sarah founded Kinetix, a company rooted in vital relationships with clinical providers, practical and creative solutions to healthcare problems, and inventive ideas to advance their clients’ success.

Over time, Sarah and John brought Kinetix’s expertise to bear on a range of chronic conditions, always focusing on bringing practical and effective solutions for improving health outcomes to their growing client base.  In 2004, Kinetix formed Group Practice Forum (GPF) in collaboration with Dr. Len Fromer, Kinetix’s Medical Director. GPF’s focus is improving patient care within the group practice setting by creating real-world solutions that incorporate published and known best practices. Leveraging the expertise of Kinetix’s multi-disciplinary advisory team and a network of more than 100 health system constituents and therapeutic area experts, GPF and Kinetix have a broad and deep knowledge base that enables them to be ahead of the curve in problem-solving for the new healthcare paradigm.

In 2011, the Group Practice Forum (GPF) partnered with the Consortium for Southeastern Hypertension Control (COSEHC), a physician-led 501c3 that focuses on cardiovascular education and clinical quality improvement, to form Integrated Medical Processes (IMP).  IMP offers consulting services to develop novel process models that facilitate quality improvement, efficiency, and a better patient experience, all while reducing the burden associated with transformation. By joining together to leverage their expertise, GPF and COSEHC had a unique opportunity to jointly build on their increasing collaboration to address core healthcare delivery issues through an integrated population management and process improvement approach.
